Our rules for commenting are fairly simple. These are:
2. A comment is deleted if:
(a) It is a personal attack against us (obviously) or against another commenter/s. The Filipino Australian is a community-based website where friendship and cooperation among the members are among our core values. Personal attacks therefore have no place in this website.
(b) It contains racist terms.
(c) It is worded so as to create an unpleasant controversy or negative reaction. Controversy may attract inbound site traffic, but we do not want negatively-driven traffic.
(d) It contains links to websites or webpages with no other intent than to advertise a website or a webpage including members’ webpages, brand, product or service. (Please do no use the commenting box as your signboards. If you want to promote something, please contact us using the advertising link. We can assure you that our rates are very reasonable.)
(e) It is hateful, scurrilous, negative, offensive and obscene.
(f) It is not relevant to the topic of the post or to the post itself.
3. Since messages on the comments box are publicly displayed, if what you only want is to contact us, for example, technical support, please use the appropriate online Contact form. We are more than happy to entertain your queries and correspond with you.
Lastly, as with other materials submitted to this website for publication, we reserve the right to edit any comments posted for publication.
We hope you will continue to enjoy a pleasant and productive interaction with other members and writers.
