Anibeth Desierto has a Masters in Language and Literacy from Deakin University, a BA double major in politics and history from Curtin University and an Honours in Asian Studies from Murdoch University, focusing on the political economy of Third World industrialisation; and Philippine trade unionism. She has been an examiner for the IELTS* for six years and for the University of Cambridge English Exams* for three. Anibeth has been teaching English in Australia and overseas. Of her poems, some are in an anthology of migrant women's writing# and her articles have been published in newspapers in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and overseas. The art exhibit featured works by Diokno Pasilan (co-founder of "Asin"), by Arturo Cruz (annual art awardee whose paintings have been in Malacanang Palace and "The Lion King"), by Alwyn Reamillo and Rey Padernilla. Live kulintangan and agung music by the "KGB" led by Diokno Pasilan. (3) sikaran-arnis demonstration compliments of Sikaran-Arnis Academy principal Roger Feletti (4) training of, and collaboration with Youth Ballet WA dancers compliments of Terri Charlesworth Ballet Centre.
