This year’s Streets Alive promises to be another exciting culmination of the one week festival with six entertainment precints, free amusement rides and market stalls – right in Blacktown’s CBD.

Blacktown City Council has announced that Saturday’s Streets Alive will include a range of new additions: ice skating rink, and a meet and greet of “princesses and superheroes including Belles, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Snow White, Batman, Superman and Spiderman.”

Food trucks with their offering of diverse street food and dessert will also line the city’s Village Green.

Commencing at 11.00am, a vibrant parade will travel through the streets of the CBD. It is a spectacular display of colour and excitement with roving characters, floats and marching bands particularly from the city’s multicultural population.
