Sydney Knights of Rizal elect new officers

Order of the Knights of Rizal Regional Commander for Australia, New Zealand and Oceania Ric de Vera today announced the new officers of the Order’s Sydney Chapter.

The new officers were elected last Saturday March 17 during the Chapter’s annual general meeting and elections.

Mr Cesar Bartolome heads the list of new officers as Chapter Commander together with Messrs Max Encomienda (Deputy Commander), Francis delos Santos (Chancellor), Ralph Posadas (Pursuivant), Carlo Villadiego (Exchequer), Ken Tipping (Archivist), Fiel Santos (Auditor), Ronald Ranoso (Deputy Pursuivant), and Jayme Diaz (Deputy Exchequer).

In announcing the names of the new officers, Mr De Vera said that the nine officers also comprise the Chapter’s Board of Trustees who will serve for the years 2012 – 2014.

The Order of the Knights of Rizal is a fraternal organisation established on December 30, 1911 to honour and uphold the ideals of the Philippine national hero Jose Rizal. The order operates as a civic and patriotic organisation under a legislative charter by Philippine Republic Act 646 enacted on June 14, 1951.
