With Pacquiao’s win, Pinoy jokers are winners too

Boxing promoters, trainers and fans are unanimous in calling Manny Pacquiao the greatest fighter of his time. He now stands tall with the likes of Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler.

And who will argue.

After all, Pacquiao now holds a string of seven world boxing crowns including the WBO welterweight belt he pounded away from Miguel Cotto yesterday.

Pacquiao’s win should be a source of pride for the Philippines.

And we are very happy too. Now we know that when Pinoy jokers said that Pacquiao would win by a KO, their statement was not based on hope, but on their knowledge of Pacquiao, his prowess, his speed.

Seventy-four per-cent of PinoyJokes.net members voted Pacquiao to win by a KO, and he did.

Although it was a TKO, it was only a matter of seconds that it would be a KO. And it would have been a merciless KO to Cotto had the referee not been quick enough to stop the fight which was only into 55 seconds of the 12th and final round.
