ANZAC Day, 25 April 2009

The Filipino Australian joins the nation in remembering the men and women who served the country and those who made the supreme sacrifice so that we may continue to enjoy freedom.

We also salute all the men and women all over the world who even in times of peace continue to tirelessly fight for freedom ~ from economic bondage, from intellectual and creative restraints, from spiritual oppression and from other forms of restrictions and dominations.

One Response to ANZAC Day, 25 April 2009

  1. Dear Editor: Thanks for this informative page. In your resource pages, I could not seem to find the Philippines as one of those observing ANZAC Day. I have counted about 50 countries in the list of ceremonies overseas but not the Philippines. Would that be correct? D Besa
