Press Room is opening shortly
Sunday, January 25th, 2009Jimmy Pimentel emailed in to report that the plans of The Filipino Press Club of Sydney for a Press Room are on schedule. The Press Room, to be housed in a Rooty Hill-based restaurant, will also feature a library.
The Press Room is expected to be operational in 3 weeks time.
A journalist by profession, Jimmy is the convenor of the press club.
Rooty Hill is a suburb in the Blacktown District, reported to have the highest concentration of Filipinos in Australia.
