Filipino-Australian organisations in NSW prepare for Philippine National Day celebrations

PREPARATIONS BY VARIOUS Philippine-Australian organisations are underway for the commemoration of the 110th anniversary of Philippine Independence, which falls on 12 June.

Philippine flag-raising ceremonies, launching of Read Philippine activities, and other festivities will be held on various weekends of May and June.

There are about 76,600 Filipinos in the New South Wales area and there is a strong eagerness in the Filipino population in New South Wales to celebrate the event and to make the commemoration as meaningful as possible.

The highlights of the National Day preparations in Sydney will be the Philippine National Day Ball on 8 June at the Hilton Sydney and a concert of the internationally-known Filipino pianist Raul Sunico on 13 June.

    I am finette tyson I am the secretary of Filipino Community Organization of the Northern Rivers here in Lismore I saw your response but I try to do what it say in the internet but I can’t go in, it says invalid image what will I do to get in? I just want to know how to contribute a photo whenever we organization has a functions.
