Thank you for the interest and your email. It came too late as nominations had already closed.Reading Mr. Penaflorida’s credentials I can say he deserves to be recognised. Maybe at the next Global Filipino Youth Awards you can nominate him. There were other late nominations too that came in. GFA certainly appreciates of the tremendous interests and response to the inaugural Global Filipino Youth Awards. Mabuhay!

This is my first time to stumble upon your ad for nominating global Filipino youth. I know of a young person whose credentials are what you’re looking for in terms of Community service. He has been recognized both here and abroad. He was awarded the Gawad Geny Lopez Jr. in 2004, nominated also in Right Livelihood Award in Stockholm in 2005, his Dynamic Teen Co. which founded was named as Ten Accomplished Youth Orgs in Luzon in 2006, received the ABS-CBN Bayaning Pilipino National winner for DTC in 2007 and a Humanos nominee for the 2008 Global Youth Awards in Southhampton, UK and CNN Heroes awards in New York.
His name is Mr. Efren G. Penaflorida, Jr. founder of Dynamic Teen Company, Cavite City.
