Australian government advisory for RP travel reissued

The Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has today reissued its travel advisory with new information under Safety and Security: Terrorism.

The advisory was reissued on account of the bomb that detonated yesterday at an entrance to the Philippine House of Representatives killing three people including a Congressman and injuring several others.

The advisory has remained to be “High Degree of Caution” for overall travel in the Philippines with “Do Not Travel” warning for travels to Mindanao, including Zamboanga and Sulu.
